Members of Ascension over 50 are invited to attend weekly meetings on Wednesdays at noon in our Social Hall where we share fellowship over lunch, coffee, and dessert.  Each week we have a program that includes Guest Speakers on such topics as “Floral Arranging,” “Elder Law,” and “Exercise and Fitness for Seniors.”  We celebrate birthdays, have Christmas and Spring Luncheons out, participate in Trips such as the Radio City “Christmas Spectacular,” productions such as “Jonah,” Moses,” and Joseph” at the Millennium Sight and Sound Theatre, and touring Connecticut on the Essex Steam Engine and Riverboat.  We have holiday celebrations for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Epiphany, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day.  We usually end our year with a BBQ in June, and a LI Ducks Baseball game in July.

We have planned many exciting speakers, trips, and celebrations.  Here’s hoping  you’ll join us September through June!
