Ascension’s Youth Ministry exists to reach students in order to build community, to help them grow in their faith, to discover God’s call in their lives, and to worship and praise God together. Youth Group is open to all 6th through 12th grade students.

Confirmation Ministry
Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are invited to Confirmation, a journey towards the Affirmation of Baptism in which we seek to help students claim a faith of their own. It is a three year program; first two years (for 6th and 7th graders) are classroom based and meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm-8pm. The third year (8th grade) of classes consist of monthly service projects and Bible Studies
ELCA Youth Gathering
Ascension Youth have a long history of participating in the ELCA Youth Gathering.
Ascension Day Camp
Ascension Lutheran Day Camp is a four week program for children
from three years old to children who have completed 6th grade.
Children who have completed 7th and 8th grade have the opportunity
to attend camp as Counselors in Training (CIT’s) for a reduced rate.
Ascension Day Camp provides a safe environment where children participate in:
Music, Arts and Crafts, Sports, Water Games, Bible Stories and More!
