Men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom. (Acts 6:3)

Deacons and Assisting Ministers serve alongside the Pastor in the Pastoral ministries of the Church. Responsibilities include: Assisting at services of worship; praying the prayers of the church, preparing the Lord’s Table, distribution of the Sacrament, preparing the font for Holy Baptism, assisting the presiding Minister with Holy baptism and praying the post-communion prayer. We also chair and serve in a ministry of the Church. Deacons have completed a two year course at Diakonia and must be approved by council and voted on by the congregation.
